- Subjugated — Having been brought into a state of dependence, subordination, or bondage; deprived of freedom of action and structural autonomy. In a technical or cybernetic sense, it describes a mechanism, system, or device whose operation (speed, position, parameters) is rigorously controlled and automatically guided by a main command element called a master.
- Astatization — A technical process or structural method through which an oscillating system, a measuring instrument (such as a galvanometer or seismograph), or a regulator is brought into a state of astatism; this operation cancels or minimizes the elastic or gravitational restoring force, causing the system to remain in equilibrium regardless of its position or considerably increasing the device's sensitivity to external perturbations.
