#tissue structure
- Adenocyte — A specialized epithelial cell with a role in glandular secretion, characterized by a highly developed Golgi apparatus and numerous secretory granules in the cytoplasm. This structural and functional unit constitutes the parenchyma of exocrine and endocrine glands, being responsible for the synthesis and release of hormones, enzymes, or other body fluids.
- Autoplasia — A biological or histological phenomenon theorized in cell culture studies and experimental oncology, describing the intrinsic capacity of certain tissues or cells to replicate, differentiate, or structurally reorganize completely autonomously, based on an endogenous genetic program independent of the systemic, hormonal, or signaling regulatory factors of the host organism.
