• Shearling jacket — A Romanian popular or slang designation given to a type of short shearling coat, leather jacket lined with fur, or winter coat with a wide collar, usually worn with the fur inside and suede outside. Structurally and culturally, the term spread in the second half of the 20th century, directly inspired by the iconic clothing style promoted by the famous French actor Alain Delon in his successful films.
