#self-propel
- Motor grader — A heavy self-propelled construction machine, equipped with a long adjustable blade mounted between the front and rear axles, used in road construction and earthworks for grading, leveling, smoothing soil or gravel, and for snow removal.
- Self-propelled plow — An agricultural machinery or integrated technical aggregate capable of performing plowing operations in a motorized and independent manner, without being towed by a secondary vehicle, or a device equipped with modern systems for structural self-regulation of depth and working angle during travel. In modern machinery engineering, the term can also describe a fully robotic plow, guided by GPS and proximity sensors, which traverses agricultural land without the direct intervention of a human operator.
- To self-propel — To propel oneself or move a vehicle or body by its own energetic and motor means, structurally integrated within it, without relying on an external pulling or pushing force. In transportation and aerospace engineering, it describes the ability of a device, vehicle, or projectile to generate the force required for travel by consuming a fuel or energy source stored on board.
- Self-propelled — Self-propelled, benefiting from an engine and an internal structural energy source; a machine, vehicle, projectile, or technical system capable of autonomous movement on roads, rails, or in space, without requiring towing, pushing, or a secondary towing vehicle. In industrial and military terminology, it describes a wide range of equipment (such as howitzers, combine harvesters, or cranes) mounted on its own self-propelled chassis.
- Propulsion unit — 1. (As a neuter noun) A mechanical device, engine, or complex structural technical assembly capable of generating and transmitting the pulling or pushing force required for the autonomous movement of a body or vehicle. 2. (As an adjective) Serving for self-propulsion; possessing the capacity to generate independent movement through its own energetic forces.
