#rhetoric
- Self-deprecated — Having been mocked or ironized by oneself in a subtle and often biting manner; a system of ideas, text, discourse, or individual characterized by an attitude of assumed self-irony. In an academic and literary context, it describes a structural state where a creator consciously minimizes or deconstructs their own importance or solemnity to block external criticism or to demonstrate intellectual detachment.
- Self-rebuttal — A response or retort that a person addresses to their own thoughts, statements, or internal dilemmas, used as a cognitive self-regulation mechanism or within an internal monologue. In rhetoric and literary structures, it defines the technique where a speaker anticipates an objection to their own discourse and counters it immediately on their own, demonstrating deep critical analysis.
