#pisciculture
- Alevin — A freshly hatched fish larva, in the first stage of post-embryonic development, characterized by the presence and absorption of the external yolk sac which provides its initial nutrition. It represents an extremely vulnerable and critical biological stage in pisciculture management and aquatic ecology, preceding the fry stage capable of independent planktonic feeding.
- Aleviniera — A specially designed pond, a small-scale fish hatchery basin, or a laboratory technical installation intended exclusively for rearing, sheltering, and medically monitoring alevins during their first stage of life. An aleviniera is engineered to ensure a constant flow of oxygenated water, strict temperature control, and absolute protection of fry against strong currents and pathogens.
