#grammar structures
- Analytic — Pertaining to analysis or proceeding by analysis; a method or structural property based on decomposing a whole into its component elements to understand its nature and internal mechanisms. In linguistics, it describes languages or grammatical forms that express syntactic relationships using helper words (prepositions, conjunctions, auxiliary verbs) rather than inflections (suffixes, prefixes, endings), as is the case with synthetic languages.
- Anarthrous — An extremely rare linguistic term or academic archaism used to describe a word, noun, or statement that completely lacks an article (unarticulated). In historical or comparative grammar studies, this structural descriptor served to differentiate bare nominal forms from those accompanied by proclitic or enclitic determiners, highlighting the early stages of noun inflection evolution.
- Hearer — A male person who hears, listens, or attends an acoustic event; as an adjective, it describes an organism, organ, or apparatus possessing the faculty to perceive acoustic waves from the environment.
