• Astrophysical — Belonging to astrophysics, relating to astrophysics; referring to the application of the laws, methods, and principles of physics to the study of the structure, chemical composition, evolution, and dynamic phenomena of celestial bodies (stars, planets, galaxies, black holes) and interstellar space. It also defines the instruments, research, or mathematical models used to explain the behavior of matter and energy on a cosmic scale.
• Astrolabe — An extended archaic variant (with the neuter ending '-iu') of the terms astrolabe and astrolav, found in early academic writings, chronicles, or old lexicons from the 18th and 19th centuries. It represents a morphological adaptation specific to that era for the planispheric instrument used in calculating time and tracking planetary positions before the Romanian scientific lexicon was unified.
• Astrological — An archaic and obsolete adjectival form (showing Neo-Greek or Slavic influence) for the term 'astrological'; relating to astrology or star-reading. • Astronomy — A fundamental and natural science that deals with the study, observation, measurement, and physico-mathematical interpretation of celestial bodies (stars, planets, satellites, comets, asteroids, galaxies), cosmic structures, and the universe as a whole. This discipline investigates the origin, evolution, chemical composition, and motion dynamics of matter and energy in extra-atmospheric space, being one of the oldest branches of human knowledge.
• Celestial body — A natural and independent celestial body of spherical or quasi-spherical shape (such as a star, planet, natural satellite, asteroid, or comet), visible in the sky during the night or day. In a restricted and poetic sense, the term often refers to the Sun or the Moon, serving as the lexical root for most space science neologisms.
• To wrap up — A regional and archaic verbal form meaning to cover well, to wrap tightly, to conceal, to hide from view, or to protect an object or a person against bad weather, cold, or snow.
