#biological process
- Activity — A set of physical, intellectual, or physiological acts, manifestations, or processes carried out consciously and systematically by a human being, a collectivity, or a system, with a specific purpose; the dynamic functioning of an organ or mechanism. In physics, it represents the number of nuclear disintegrations produced in a radioactive substance per unit of time.
- Alterative — Causing an alteration, a profound structural transformation, or a progressive organic change; in old medical terminology, it referred to a remedy capable of favorably modifying the nutritional state and metabolic processes of the body.
- To assimilate — To absorb, incorporate, or integrate knowledge, nutrients, or cultural elements into a pre-existing system; to transform substances from the environment into one's own matter (in biology). In a structural and social sense, it defines the process by which an individual or a minority group fully adopts the traits, language, and customs of a majority community, gradually losing their original identity.
- Sweating — The act of sweating and its result; a complex physiological process through which the organism eliminates sweat through skin pores to regulate its internal temperature. This structural and biological phenomenon can be stimulated by thermal factors, intense muscular exertion, pronounced febrile states, or neurovegetative reactions triggered by stress and anxiety.
- Autogenetic — Pertaining to or relating to autogenesis; originating, developing, or generated from within the same organism or system, without direct external environmental influence or input from another individual. In a molecular sense, the term describes self-regulated biological processes or cellular structures that modify or replicate based on their own constitutive hereditary code.
