- Aggressology — An emerging interdisciplinary branch of criminology and psychopathology dedicated to the systematic, scientific, and experimental study of the causes, biological, psychological, and social mechanisms driving violent behaviors, acts of aggression, and the personality profile of the aggressor. Unlike victimology, it focuses heavily on analyzing violence from the perpetrator's perspective.
- Alloempathy — An atypical or differently directed form of emotional resonance in which an individual experiences affective states transferred or induced by an alien environment or by a group with values completely opposite to their own psychological structure. In experimental neuropsychology, the term describes the process by which mirror neuron networks process and integrate empathetic responses that contradict the subject's native affective associations, forcing a transient cognitive restructuring.
- Amoral — Devoid of moral perception, situated outside moral criteria or norms; exhibiting no awareness or concern regarding the distinction between right and wrong. Unlike immoral (which consciously violates ethical standards), the term describes a structural ethical neutrality, being applied to concepts, actions, natural phenomena, or scientific theories.
- Anti-apathy — Combating, preventing, or dispelling the state of 'lehamite' (profound boredom, moral disgust, spiritual apathy, or existential weariness); a remedy, activity, reading, or mental stimulus that revivifies the spirit and restores individual enthusiasm. In a structural sense, it describes dynamic factors that lift an individual out of psychological monotony.
- Antimodel — A person, behavior, structure, or system embodying negative, reprehensible traits or traits contrary to established ethical and social norms, serving as a negative example (what should not be imitated); in a structural sense, it represents the antithesis of an ideal model or a positive value archetype within an educational or cultural process.
- Anthropophobic — The feminine form of 'antropofob'; describes a woman, an individual, a community, or a female animal species exhibiting a pathological fear, intense aversion, or an instinctive tendency to avoid humans and urban crowds. As an adjective, it applies to behavioral structures or species characterized by anthropophobia.
- Self-assessment — The act of evaluating oneself or its result; a psychological and cognitive process through which an individual assesses their own qualities, skills, flaws, or behaviors; a critically grounded self-image. In a broad sense, it determines the level of self-esteem and directly influences self-confidence and social integration capacity.
