#anilida
- Anilide — An organic chemical compound structurally derived from an acid (usually a carboxylic acid) and aniline, by replacing a hydrogen atom in the amino group with an acyl radical. These substances belong to the class of aromatic amides and are of high importance in the pharmaceutical industry, serving as a base for synthesizing well-known analgesics and antipyretics, as well as in manufacturing artificial dyes and plastic stabilizers.
- Antifebrin — A historical commercial name attributed to acetanilide, the first aniline derivative utilized in medicine as an analgesic and antipyretic starting in the late 19th century; a synthetic crystalline substance with a potent fever-reducing effect. Due to high blood toxicity, it was withdrawn from clinical protocols.
