#aircraft intercom

• Aircraft interphone — A specialized acoustic intercommunication device or system used in the past aboard military or civil aircraft to allow clear dialogue between crew members (pilots, navigators, gunners). The device was structurally designed to filter and isolate the deafening noise produced by engines and external airflow, facilitating the transmission of vocal waves through acoustic tubes or primitive microphones with shielded headphones.
