#accessibility
- Addressability — The capacity or property of a system, service, or product to direct itself toward a specific target audience or to be accessed and utilized by a certain consumer category. In social medicine and hospital management, the term indicates the degree of orientation and demand for medical services by patients. In computer science, it represents the property of memory locations to receive unique addresses for processing.
- Apperceptible — Capable of being consciously perceived and integrated into the cognitive structure of the mind through apperception; intelligible, conceptually clear, or capable of being assimilated through voluntary attention. It describes the property of a stimulus to pass beyond the threshold of simple organic sensation.
- Audio description — A form of additional narration intended to make audiovisual works (films, theater plays, television shows) accessible to blind or visually impaired individuals; audio description. It consists of a voice narrator describing key visual elements (actions, facial expressions, settings, costumes) during natural pauses in dialogue.
- Audio chess — A digital system, software application, or game variant designed to allow chess matches to be played through sound commands and speech synthesis, primarily used to make the sport accessible to blind or visually impaired individuals. Moves are announced aloud using standardized coordinates, removing the need for visual interaction.
