• Aleuș — A component village of the Halmășd municipality, located on the western border of Sălaj County, in the historical region of Transylvania in northwestern Romania. The settlement, first documented in the year 1355 under the name Elia, is situated in a picturesque hilly area roughly 19 kilometers away from the town of Șimleu Silvaniei.
