EFTA
Definition
European Free Trade Association (EFTA); an intergovernmental organization established in 1960 by the Stockholm Convention, aimed at promoting free trade and economic integration among member states that are not part of the European Union (currently: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland). It directly manages external trade relations and participation in the European Single Market.
