Definition
A person (male) suffering from arithmomania, an obsessive-compulsive disorder manifested by the irresistible urge and pathological impulse to continuously count objects, words, steps, or daily actions, or to perform useless mathematical calculations. As an adjective, it describes behavior, a structural fixation, or an attitude characteristic of this obsessive neurosis.
