#zenith
- South — An old, popular, or regional designation for the cardinal point south; the direction indicated by the sun at the middle of the day (at noon), opposite to 'miazănoapte' (north). Structurally, the term reflects the traditional spatial orientation of the Romanian people based on the solar zenith.
- Midday positioning — An abstract regional or literary noun denoting the hypothetical action of reaching midday or the process of the sun stabilizing at its highest point (zenith). In certain dialects, it is structurally used as a rare synonym for amiezare or to describe the full onset of the midday heat.
- Apogee — The point in the elliptical orbit of the Moon or an artificial satellite that is farthest from the Earth; terrestrial apoapsis. Figuratively, the term denotes the highest point, climax, or maximum level of development, glory, power, or brilliance that a person, a civilization, a science, or a work of art can reach.
