#weaponry
- Anti-personnel — Designed, manufactured, or structurally used to neutralize, injure, or destroy the enemy's living force, meaning soldiers and combat personnel on the ground. In tactical and weaponry terminology, it describes mines, grenades, or special projectiles engineered to scatter shrapnel over a wide radius, as opposed to weapons intended for destroying armored vehicles or buildings.
- Armament — The totality of weapons, combat equipment, ammunition, and related technical devices supplied to an army, a military unit, or an individual defensive system. This structural assembly includes melee weapons, firearms, heavy machinery, and modern missile systems, being strictly regulated by national laws and international treaties on security and proliferation control.
- Armory — An old, collective, or regional form derived from the sphere of the term 'armare' (outfitting/arming) or 'armură' (armor), used in the past to designate the totality of weapons equipping a military unit or a fortress; it can also appear as the articulated genitive-dative form of the archaic noun 'armărie' (armory or weapons workshop).
- Artillery — A branch of the army equipped with large-caliber firearms (cannons, howitzers, launchers, rocket systems); the entirety of these weapons and their associated combat equipment. Tactically, it represents the science and technique of using heavy weaponry to execute long-range strikes in support of other troop types.
