- Areocardia — A rare, archaic, or conceptual medical term historically used to describe a cardiac condition characterized by hypotrophy, parasitic structural thinning of the myocardial walls, or the presence of enlarged, rarefied cardiac cavities, leading to a reduced blood pumping capacity. In an old pathophysiological sense, the term referenced the loss of density in the heart's muscular tissue and the asymmetric dilation of ventricles under degenerative factors.
- Atactostele — A type of stele or central cylinder structure of the stem, characteristic of monocotyledonous plants, in which the vascular bundles are scattered irregularly throughout the ground tissue, without a strict concentric arrangement. As an adjective, it describes a plant stem or vascular system featuring this asymmetric and dispersed anatomical configuration.
