#tendency
- Absolutizing — Tending to absolutize; displaying the characteristics of a process of dogmatization, forced universalization, or the elimination of context and nuance. In critical analyses of manners and in epistemology, an absolutizant vision or method is penalized for its rigidity, as it refuses to recognize empirical variability or the complexity of particular moral cases.
- Allegorism — A tendency, creation method, or artistic style characterized by the excessive or systematic use of allegories and figurative symbols in literary or plastic works. In literary and aesthetic criticism, this structural phenomenon describes an inclination toward the abstract coding of reality, where each narrative or visual element obligatorily points to a parallel moral, mystical, or philosophical meaning.
- Isallobaric — Pertaining to the negative or positive variation of atmospheric pressure recorded within a specific time interval; a special isobaric line used on synoptic charts to connect points with the same baric tendency value. Although rarely used as an independent adjective, the term describes phenomena, variations, or graphical representations directly related to air mass dynamics and pressure modifications preceding major weather changes.
- Autonomistic — Manifesting or expressing a clear tendency toward autonomism; characteristic of movements, discourses, or doctrines that emphasize achieving self-governance. In a broad or literary sense, the term can describe an attitude of radical structural independence or a discursive style focused on decoupling from rules imposed by a central or classical authority.
