#structural terrain
- Ardenne — The original French name for the rugged, densely forested mountainous region of the Ardennes, located primarily in Belgium and Luxembourg, and structurally extending into France. The region is globally famous for its rolling terrain, deep valleys carved by the Meuse and Semois rivers, and its major strategic importance during both World Wars, notably as the site of the famous Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.
- Sand expanse — An extensive accumulation of sand, a sandy beach, or a desert area covered with dunes; an unconsolidated granular sedimentary deposit formed by rock disintegration under climatic actions. In an international geographical and tourism context (originating from Spanish), the term designates coastal regions, seaside resorts, or volcanic areas structurally characterized by the massive presence of sand fields or fine volcanic ash.
