#structural rhythm
- Andamento — A structural movement, internal rhythm, or course of a musical composition or a visual artwork. In the art of mosaic, the term defines the linear direction and visual flow created by the geometric alignment of the tiles (tesserae), guiding the eye and providing dynamism and volume to the entire composition. In music, it can designate an extended secondary theme or a methodically developed fugal section.
- Antidactyl — A metrical foot in ancient Greek and Latin poetry consisting of one short syllable followed by two long syllables, representing the reverse of a dactyl; a term used in classical poetry to define an inverted rhythmic structure. As an adjective, it describes a verse or a rhythmic sequence built upon this specific syllabic succession.
