#structural decay
- Process of dying — The act or process of undergoing death throes, and its result; the terminal physiological transition from life to clinical death. Figuratively, it denotes a gradual decomposition, prolonged decline, or the structural collapse of a system.
- Altering agent — Feminine form (singular or plural) or neuter form (plural) of the word 'alterator'; describes a substance, external agent, or biological entity that causes the degradation, spoiling, or structural decomposition of an organic or chemical medium.
- Annihilation — The action of annihilating or the result thereof; total destruction, complete annihilation, reduction to nothingness. As a structural concept in deep psychology and existential philosophy, it represents the conscious or unconscious process of ego dissolution.
- Annihilated — Completely destroyed, annihilated, or reduced to nothingness; structurally, physically, or spiritually abolished. In existentialist contexts, it describes the state of an object or conscious self that has undergone a total erasure of meaning or radical isolation from objective reality.
- Anecdotalism — A tendency, predilection, or stylistic mannerism characterized by the excessive use of anecdotes, minor trivial facts, and superficial details in a literary, historical, or analytical work, to the detriment of compositional unity or structural depth.
- Aeolian corrasion — A geomorphological process of disintegration, fragmentation, and structural destruction of rocks under the direct and prolonged action of wind laden with abrasive sand or dust particles; natural aeolian corrasion or sandblasting.
- Atrophic — A rare medical term or regressive form used to describe an organism, tissue, or individual affected by atrophy; lacking normal development, reduced in volume, or structurally degenerated due to lack of nutrition or activity. In modern standard terminology, it is used almost exclusively as a combining form or as the full adjective 'atrofiat'.
- Atrophying — Causing or accelerating the process of atrophy; a toxic, degenerative, or pathological factor that leads to a structural diminution of the volume and functional capacity of a tissue or organ. In clinical terms, it describes the destructive evolution of certain dermatological, muscular, or neurological conditions that leave behind tissue underdevelopment sequelae.
- Atrophic — Pertaining to atrophy, relating to atrophy, or exhibiting its characteristics; causing a structural and functional diminution of tissues. It is used in clinical terminology to define specific types of inflammatory, degenerative, or dermatological conditions characterized by marked thinning of membranes or organs.
- Atropism — A chronic pathological condition or systemic poisoning caused by the repeated and abusive use of atropine or other deadly nightshade preparations; a form of dependency or structurally altered tolerance of cholinergic receptors toward the effects of this toxic alkaloid. This phenomenon causes severe functional changes in the autonomic nervous system, manifested through visual, cardiac, and behavioral disorders.
