#stove
- Hearth niche — A rare regional or archaic form (encountered in certain Banat or western Transylvanian dialects) used to designate a small oven, a cast-iron cooking stove, or a niche built into the hearth wall for keeping food warm or drying wood; a structural recess. The term reflects phonetic borrowings or contaminations from the Central European area into traditional rural households.
- Gas stove — A household kitchen appliance used for the thermal preparation of food, consisting of a cooktop with multiple burners and an integrated oven, usually powered by liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, or electricity. In modern Romanian, the term has become a generalized common noun through the process of eponymy, originating from the name of the bottled gas historically distributed during the communist era.
