- Amplifier — A neologistic term adopted from international technical terminology (English / French) used to designate an electronic amplifier, a power station, or an electroacoustic device intended for increasing the amplitude of sound or electrical signals. In current musical jargon and the high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) audio equipment industry, the word is frequently used as such to specify amplification modules dedicated to guitars or professional sound systems.
- Vocal processor — An electroacoustic device or specialized software program capable of automatically recording, processing, and playing back multiple harmonized voices starting from a single pre-existing vocal source, simulating the effect of a full choral ensemble. In a technical and acoustic sense, it represents an autonomous system for the multiplication and spectral alignment of audio signals to generate sonic depth.
