- Aeschynanthus speciosus — Scientific name of a perennial epiphytic lipstick plant species from the Aeschynanthus genus, native to the tropical rainforests of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, considered one of the most spectacular in the genus. - Showy — Drawing the eye through its outward appearance, eager to show off or stand out; imposing, good-looking, proud, or ostentatious in behavior and dress. In popular dialects, the term describes a fashionable person, an imposing garment, or a well-groomed animal that looks spectacular.
- Argemone grandiflora — A species of annual or perennial herbaceous plant in the genus Argemone, family Papaveraceae, native to Mexico and neighboring regions, commonly known as the large-flowered prickly poppy. The plant is structurally distinguished by its bluish-grey (glaucous) foliage, robust stems that are less prickly than those of other species in the genus, and spectacular inflescences with large flowers whose delicate, crinkled, immaculate white petals can reach diameters of up to 10-12 centimeters.
