#self-review
- To self-review — To write or create a review or critical analysis of one's own literary, artistic, or scientific work; to publicly, consciously, and self-referentially evaluate the value, structure, or impact of one's own creation. In cultural journalism and modern digital media, the act of self-reviewing is used either as an intentional exercise in self-irony and aesthetic reflexivity or as a masked or transparent self-promotion strategy to attract public attention.
- Self-review — The act of self-reviewing and its result; a review, critical essay, or structural analysis written by an author about their own work. This type of self-referential text, frequently used in experimental or avant-garde literary movements, functions as a metaliterary tool through which the creator explains their aesthetic intentions, decodes hidden symbols, and directly guides the reading public in the interpretation process.
