#self-appointment

• Self-designation — The act of self-designating and its result; the autonomous, voluntary, or abusive process through which a person or entity appoints, delegates, or chooses themselves for a leadership function, committee, or official mission, without having a formal vote or prior approval from a superior collective body. This structural act modifies internal decision-making hierarchies in the absence of strict regulations.
