#scarecrow
- Fright — A person or creature with an extremely ugly, hideous, deformed, or ridiculous physical appearance; a fright, monstrosity, or freak. Often used in colloquial or literary language with a pejorative value to describe an extremely thin, bony, lanky individual, or a contorted figure that causes repulsion or amusement due to its structural disproportions.
- Băhvă — A rare popular term or regional archaism historically used to designate a bizarre creature, a monster, a scarecrow, or a grotesque figure found in rural superstitions and local fairy tales. In a derogatory sense, it can be used as an epithet for a disagreeable person.
- Bastard — A child born out of wedlock; a bastard. In old regional dialects, mainly in eastern regions, it was used as a harsh pejorative for an illegitimate child. In secondary regional contexts, it denotes a scarecrow; colloquially in modern Dobrogean slang, it translates to a highly restless, stubborn, or hyperactive youth.
