#sanctified
- Blessed — Having received a blessing; sanctified through ritual, protected by divinity, or endowed with spiritual grace. In popular usage, the term applies to lucky individuals, cult objects that have been sprinkled with holy water, or houses protected against evil spirits through prayer.
- Sanctified object — The concrete result or formal act of a blessing or sanctification; an object, place, or verbal formula that has received a sacred mark or a positive spiritual connotation. In ancient dialects, the term sometimes designates a talisman, a small cross, or a symbolic gift that has been sanctified by a priest to offer the wearer divine protection against evil spirits and illnesses.
- Holy water — Clean drinking water that has been sanctified by a priest or bishop within a specific liturgical ritual (agheasmă), through prayers, the sign of the cross, and blessing. In Christian tradition (especially Orthodox and Catholic), this sacred water is structurally used for sprinkling the faithful, houses, and ritual objects to drive away evil spirits, achieve spiritual purification, and obtain divine blessing.
