#rural infrastructure
- Apele Vii — The name of a commune and its residential village located in Dolj County, in the Oltenia region of Romania. Etymologically and folklorically, the toponym refers to the presence of clean, rich, and continuously flowing water springs that feed the fertile soil of the area and sustain local agricultural communities.
- Pseudo-town — A pejorative, ironic, or humorous term used to designate a small rural locality, commune, or settlement that has recently acquired the official administrative status of a town, but retains its rural structure, mindset, lack of utilities, and village-like appearance. In urban sociology, the word describes the structural discrepancy between a locality's official legal title and its underdeveloped economic, infrastructural, or cultural reality.
