#rhetoric device
- Rhetorical amplification — An obsolete form (textual archaism) of the noun 'amplificare' or 'amplificație', utilized in 19th and early 20th-century legal, literary, or administrative texts; in classical rhetoric, it designates the stylistic device of developing and enriching a subject or an idea by accumulating details, arguments, or figures of speech, aiming to impress the audience.
- Aprosdoketon — A figure of speech or highly refined rhetorical device consisting of the introduction of an unexpected, surprising, or completely unforeseen element at the end of a sentence or speech, deliberately contradicting the logical expectations previously built in the reader's mind.
- Autonomasia — A figure of speech or rhetorical device related to antonomasia, through which a proper name is replaced by a self-referential common noun, a native appellative, or a structural determinant indicating membership in a class defined by itself. This type of semantic substitution is used to emphasize an absolute intrinsic quality of a subject, creating a signifying loop where the assigned title flows directly and logically from the fundamental nature of the named entity.
