#recondite

• Abstruse — Difficult to understand, obscure, recondite, or hidden due to excessive complexity, lack of clarity in expression, or an exaggerated level of formal theorization. It applies especially to texts, writing styles, theories, or discourses that use a hermetic language accessible only to initiates.
• Abstruse (variant) — A secondary lexicographical form, less frequent or a literary phonetic variant of the adjective 'abstrus', used to describe a text, reasoning, or discourse that is obscure, convoluted, and extremely difficult to understand due to pedantry or lack of structural clarity.
