#pastern dermatitis

• Pastern dermatitis — A popular veterinary term synonymous with 'ariceală', denoting eczematous dermatitis in horses located at the pastern crease of the hoof. In botany, it is the common name for certain medicinal plants or weeds with stems or fruits covered in coarse hairs, tiny spines, or hooks (such as Medicago species), traditionally used in empirical treatments for skin disorders.
