#moth taxonomy
- Aristotelia — Scientific name assigned to a genus of perennial plants in the Elaeocarpaceae family, native to the Southern Hemisphere (such as Aristotelia chilensis or maqui), known for its highly antioxidant berries. Also, in zoological taxonomy, the term denotes a genus of small moths (night butterflies) in the Gelechiidae family, both genera being structurally named as a tribute to the philosopher Aristotle.
