- Babarca — A rare regional term used in certain rural dialects within the southern or western Romanian regions to designate an improvised hut, a rudimentary shelter covered with reeds or branches, or a narrow, dilapidated household outbuilding. By popular or pejorative semantic extension, the word can also refer to a small, old, degraded watercraft or a worn-out, torn, and shapeless garment.
