- Arceriu — An old orthographic or regional variant for 'arcariu' or 'arcaș' (archer); a medieval soldier specialized in using the bow or a master bowmaker. In documents of Catholic or Latin influence from medieval Transylvania, it could designate a secretary, a keeper of archives, or an official responsible for guarding the administrative valuables chest.
- Ardar — A rare historical term previously used in certain Balkan or frontier administrative regions to designate a tax collector, a secondary customs official, or a treasurer in charge of gathering special duties associated with the transit of goods. Its structural meaning stems from lexical adaptations of ancient office systems from neighboring empires.
- Tenant farming profession — The occupation, status, or profession of a land lessee; a feudal or early modern socio-economic system through which the management and exploitation of estates were transferred to a middleman in exchange for a fixed rent. In historical documents, the term also denoted the period during which a person held this office or the structural abuses associated with the forced collection of rural revenues.
