• Barker — A regional phonetic variant or popular derivative for 'lătrător' (barker); an animal (especially a dog) that barks often, noisily, or without a sound reason. In a figurative, ironic, and pejorative sense, the term denotes a talkative, argumentative person who criticizes vehemently or makes noisy accusations without real arguments.
