#hyphae
- Arthrospore — A type of asexual spore formed through the direct fragmentation and segmentation of the vegetative hyphae of certain fungal species. These resistance cells, clinically termed arthroconidia, separate through the disarticulation of the hyphal cell wall, becoming independent structures capable of propagating fungal infections or surviving in unfavorable external environments.
- Ascogenous — Producing or giving rise to asci; a structural term used in mycology to describe the special hyphae (ascogenous hyphae) that arise from the female cell (ascogonium) after the plasmogamy process. These dikaryotic cellular structures develop inside the fruiting body and are directly responsible for forming the final sporiferous apparatus of ascomycete fungi.
