#hovercraft
- Hovercraft — A self-propelled amphibious vehicle (hovercraft) capable of moving at a low altitude above water, land, swamps, or ice, by generating a continuous layer of compressed air beneath its hull (air cushion) which cancels its direct friction with the ground surface.
- Hover-scooter — A small, individual hybrid recreational vehicle, structurally designed to move at a low altitude above the ground or water by utilizing the air cushion principle or steerable propulsion propellers. This mechanical device combines the handling ease of a terrestrial scooter with aerodynamic elements specific to ultralight aircraft.
- Aerotrain — An experimental high-speed rail vehicle or hybrid ground transport system structurally designed to move without wheels above a special guideway (monorail), being sustained on an air cushion and propelled by propellers, turbines, or linear motors. This concept eliminates mechanical friction with the rails, allowing speeds superior to conventional trains.
