#fourth conjugation
- Air out — To air out, to expose to fresh air, to introduce atmospheric oxygen into an enclosed space; to become light, ethereal, or scattered like air. It is an archaic and rare verbal form, structurally replaced in modern Romanian by the derivative verb 'a aerisi' or the neologism 'a aera'.
- To confuse — The act of raving or speaking without sense and coherence due to fever, illness, or fatigue; in a current and transitive sense, it means to confuse, daze, bewilder, or cause disorientation in someone's mind through absurd words or disorganized actions. The verb is a constant presence in the Romanian lexicon, shifting from a purely medical-empirical connotation in the past to an extended, colloquial, and metaphorical usage today, describing the temporary loss of conceptual clarity or microscopic focus.
- Scion — A fragment of a stem, branch, or bud taken from a noble plant, which is inserted and fixed onto another plant (rootstock) to merge structurally and live together. As a verb (a altoi), it represents the horticultural act of executing this vegetative union; colloquially, it means to hit or strike someone.
- Elongate — To make something become longer in space or time, through stretching, pulling, or developing; to increase the longitudinal dimension of an object. In its second main sense, it means to drive away, expel, or forcefully remove a person, an animal, or a thought from a certain place or community.
- Allude — To make an allusion, to refer indirectly to something or someone without explicitly mentioning it; to hint at a certain hidden meaning through a subtle remark. Although the current standard and widely accepted verbal form in Romanian is 'a aluda', the variant 'a aluzi' appears sporadically in literary jargon or as an analogical neologism derived directly from the noun 'aluzie'.
