#forest management
- Forest management plan — A fundamental technical, economic, and legal study regulating over the long term (usually 10 years) the organization, sustainable exploitation, and protection of a forest estate. In specialized language, it represents the mandatory official document establishing wood-cutting quotas and required reforestation works.
- Female forest planner — A woman specialized in designing and drafting forest management plans or in the structural and landscape planning of territories. She performs the same technical, economic, and legal duties as her masculine counterpart, being responsible for forest plot inventory, calculating logging quotas, and establishing ecosystem conservation methods.
- Forest stand — A homogeneous community of trees located within a specific forest area, characterized by structural uniformity regarding species composition, age, density, origin, and development pattern. It represents the basic unit in forestry for implementing management, logging, regeneration, and forest protection measures.
