- To animalize — To cause someone to lose their human character, acquiring traits, instincts, or behaviors specific to animals; to degrade morally, spiritually, or intellectually. As a reflexive verb, it describes the process by which a person degenerates, becomes brutalized, or voluntarily or involuntarily sinks to an existential level governed exclusively by primitive drives, due to inhumane living conditions or vices.
- Animalized — Having undergone the process of animalization; a human being, collectivity, or character that has lost its higher traits, consciousness, or reason, manifesting itself guided exclusively by raw instincts, aggressiveness, or elementary physiological needs. In a figurative sense, the term describes a raw lifestyle, devoid of any form of spiritual elevation, culture, or civilized social organization.
