- To self-adapt — To automatically modify one's own structure, behavior, parameters, or functioning to suit new environmental conditions, operational requirements, or changes in the external context; to undergo an independent process of adaptive adjustment without the direct intervention or control of an external factor.
- Self-documentation — The act of self-documenting and its result; an individual and autonomous process of gathering materials, data, and bibliographical evidence to clarify a subject, or an advanced function of a computer system to automatically generate its own technical user guides.
- Autopilot — An electronic, mechanical, or software structural system capable of guiding, controlling, and maintaining the trajectory, speed, and balance of a vehicle (such as an aircraft, marine vessel, or autonomous car) without the continuous intervention of a human operator. In a figurative and psychological sense, it defines a state of semi-conscious mental functioning where a person executes repetitive, complex, or routine tasks based on rigid automatisms deeply embedded in the subconscious.
