#complexity
- Alphanumeric — Containing or utilizing both letters of the alphabet and digits (numbers) from a given numerical system; by extension, referring to a character set or a code composed of a combination of literal and numerical elements. In computer science and cybersecurity, the concept is fundamental for defining data types, validating web forms, and creating complex passwords designed to resist brute-force attacks.
- Algorithmics — 1. A branch of computer science and applied mathematics dealing with the study, design, structural analysis, and optimization of computing algorithms. 2. The feminine form of the adjective 'algoritmic'. As a discipline, it analyzes the spatial and temporal complexity of logical procedures.
- Asymptotic — Having the character of an asymptote, relating to an asymptote; continuously and infinitely approaching a certain value, curve, or structural limit without ever touching it directly in finite time. In computer science, it describes the runtime complexity of algorithms at large data volumes, and in statistics, the metric behavior of probability distributions.
- Asystemic — Not belonging to a system, not conforming to the rules or structure of a pre-existing system, or acting outside of any organized framework; lacking a systemic character. In modern structural analysis, it defines isolated phenomena, unpredictable elements, or delicate behaviors that cannot be mapped or explained through the internal logic of a macro-structure or global network.
