• Rattlebox — A very rare regional term used in certain dialects of eastern or northeastern Romania to designate a rudimentary tool, a strange old object, or a makeshift machine that runs with difficulty and makes a lot of noise; it can also be a phonetically altered variant or a nickname for a talkative woman or a heavy winter coat. In rural slang, the term evokes something of poor quality or an old piece of junk.
