- Anteriu — A long male garment, open in front, tight down to the waist with wide skirts, often made of silk, fine wool, or velvet, historically worn by boyars or wealthy merchants in the Romanian Principalities or, currently, by Orthodox clergy (as a priestly robe). This garment of Oriental influence reflected the wearer's social status and administrative rank during the Phanariote era.
