• Antipricon — A legal exchange or property compensation offered in place of or on account of the originally established dowry (dotal property). The term, used in old Romanian law during the pre-modern era (such as in the Caragea Code), designated the formal act or contract by which a sold or alienated dotal asset was replaced with an equivalent property to guarantee the wife's economic protection.
