#boidae
- Anaconda — A generic name attributed to huge, semi-aquatic constrictor snakes of the Boidae family, native to the tropical regions of South America. The main representative, the green anaconda (Eunectes murinus), is structurally recognized as the heaviest and one of the longest snakes in the world, hunting by ambush in the Amazon and Orinoco basins, where it immobilizes its prey through suffocation.
