#biliary tract
- Albuminocholia — A rare pathological condition characterized by the presence or excretion of albumin in the bile secretion; a dysfunctional state within the bile ducts or liver parenchyma leading to an altered biochemical composition of bile through the infiltration of macromolecular protein fractions.
- Angiocolecistitis — An acute or chronic inflammatory disease that simultaneously affects the gallbladder and the intrahepatic or extrahepatic biliary tracts (biliary vascular channels). This structural pathological process is most often caused by ascending bacterial infections, biliary stasis, or lithiasis, clinically manifesting as severe pain in the right hypochondrium, fever, chills, and jaundice.
